Storm Damage & Emergency Tree Service in Kansas City

Tree on the house or blocking the driveway? Call now — we respond fast during our hours.

Kansas City storms bring straight-line winds, heavy spring thunderstorms and winter ice that can drop a healthy tree in seconds. When it happens, you need someone who answers the phone, shows up and deals with the mess safely.

Here's our honest scope: we respond fast during our working hours, Monday through Saturday from 6 AM to 7 PM. If you call after hours or on Sunday, we return your call first thing the next working morning and get you on the schedule as soon as possible.

What to do first

Stay away from any downed power lines and anything touching them, including the tree, fences and puddles. If lines are involved, call 911 and your utility company right away — we can't start until the utility makes the area safe.

If it's safe, take photos of the damage from several angles before anything is moved. Those photos help with your insurance claim. Keep people and pets away from hanging limbs, which can fall without warning.

What we handle

We remove trees and large limbs that have fallen on roofs, garages, fences and cars, working carefully to avoid causing more damage as the weight comes off. Our climber takes down hanging and broken limbs still caught in the canopy. We clear blocked driveways and walkways first if you need access, then cut up and haul away the wood and debris.

If the tree that's still standing has been split or weakened, we'll tell you honestly whether it can be saved with pruning or whether it should come down before the next storm.

Insurance paperwork

We provide itemized written estimates that clearly describe the damage and the work needed, which you can submit with your homeowner's insurance claim. We can't promise what your insurer will cover, but we make the paperwork side as easy as possible.

What's included

  • Fast response during our hours (Mon–Sat 6 AM–7 PM)
  • After-hours calls returned first thing next working morning
  • Removal of trees and limbs from roofs, fences and cars
  • Hanging and broken limbs taken down by our climber
  • Driveway and access clearing
  • Debris cut up and hauled away
  • Itemized written estimate for your insurance

How we price it

Storm work is priced the same honest way as our other jobs: after we see it. The factors are the size of the tree, what it's resting on, how much rigging is needed to lift it off safely, and how much debris needs hauling.

We don't add surprise storm surcharges. You get a written, itemized price before we start.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?

We respond fast during our hours, Monday through Saturday 6 AM to 7 PM. Calls that come in after hours or on Sunday are returned first thing the next working morning.

A tree is on my power line. What should I do?

Stay far away and keep others away. Call 911 and your utility company. We can't work on trees touching power lines until the utility has made them safe.

Will you help with my insurance claim?

We provide itemized written estimates and can describe the damage and work clearly so you can submit them with your claim. Coverage decisions are up to your insurer.

Can you just clear my driveway first?

Yes. If a tree is blocking your driveway or access, we can prioritize clearing a path and come back for full removal and cleanup.
